South Africa’s laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases have jumped to 4 002 981 after 109 people were confirmed to have contracted the virus on Monday

After 109 people were proven to have contracted the virus on Monday, the number of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa increased to 4 002 981.

The Western Cape had 21, Gauteng had 52, and KwaZulu-Natal had 17 of the most recent infections, according to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD). Less than 10 cases were reported in the remaining provinces…
